Bachelor of Science in Health Exercise Sport Science (2010) and Corrective Exercise Specialist from NASM. (2012)
As graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and a 6 year Infantry veteran, fitness is my life. I earned my bachelor of science in sport science and later a NASM certification in corrective exercise. This led me to the field of prosthetics where I built prosthetic limbs and aided recent amputees in rehabilitation. I have extensive experience in designing exercise programs to accommodate injuries. My goal is to help you meet yours. Whether it is losing those last five pounds, training for your first triathlon, or you are starting for the first time, together we can make your goals a reality.
I am a currently a nursing school student at San Jacinto College. When I am not studying I spend most of my time outdoors. I am still active with my old Boy Scout troop as an instructor in rock climbing, hiking, camping, and survival skills. I am also an avid surfer and enjoy time in the garage working on old muscle cars.
American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Group Certified Instructor, AED/CPR Certified
I decided to study kinesiology in college and after receiving my associate’s degree in science from Parkland College in 2005, I entered the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign kinesiology program. In 2007, after two years of hard studying, I received my degree, along with a concentration in personal training. Shortly thereafter, I studied for and passed my personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine. I have been full-time training since then, and now have over 6 years of training experience.
I enjoy training all types of clients, older and younger, athletes and non-athletes. I find it highly motivating and very gratifying to see my clients benefit from the exercise they do with me and that is the reason I continue to be passionate about personal training. Now that I am training at Kinex, I believe that I will be able to take my clients' workouts to another level. By having dedicated space and equipment for each and every session, I am able to implement workouts that burn more calories and thus give my clients more value for their money.
When I'm not training at Kinex, I like to stay active with my wife Sydney. We enjoy rock climbing and mountain biking, as well as running and working out together. Most people find it surprising, but I am also classicallytrained on the piano, and can't help but sit down and play when I see one!

I live in League City and am married to a wonderful woman and we are expecting our first child in early 2015. We also have two rescue dogs that keep us active at the various parks around town. My wife and I enjoy our large families and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our daughter. I am also a private pilot and I try to fly as often as I can.
