I have been enthusiastic about health and fitness for as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I was encouraged to spend most of my time outdoors and quickly learned about the importance of proper hydration and nutrition. After attempting a handful of sports, I fell in love with competitive cheerleading and track and field. I spent the remainder of my adolescent years pursuing both, as well as teaching strength and conditioning classes, and volunteering around the community at different events for handicapped children. The people that I worked with helped show me how gratifying it is to guide someone towards a goal - no matter the size!
While studying at the University of Oklahoma, I realized how much I enjoyed learning about human anatomy and how to fine-tune the body. I pursued several certifications, and now enjoy helping others increase their longevity and transform their bodies through personalized fitness goals!
When I'm not at Kinex, I enjoy staying active! Whether on a bike or in a kayak, I'm always up for an outdoor adventure. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, and painting, and don't even get me started on football! I am excited to rock climb and take part in various running events in Illinois', and once the snow comes, I'm determined to learn how to ski!
